The power possessed by the pixies is so immense, it is tangible; miles above their underwater home the surface of thelake glimmers, casting magical reflections in all directions. Despite her power though, this pixie has lost a great many things, for she has lived a long time and time is not kind. She scourns the naivety of the young, all the while yearning for a taste of her long-ago childhood. Instead she is left with her thoughts; where did the years go? When did she last stretch her wings and fly? Why did the universe create an array of beautiful, individual beings and then leave them corrupt over time, without blessing them with the sweet release that accompanies death? why must the universe messup a thousand times, before it even gets close to the right answer? the power of the universe is wasted; the power of the pixies is dying; the power of the people is dead.

This is me.

I don’t want to be grown up on the inside or outside. I wanna mess up and look like utter shit every day. I wanna be a typical teenager. I wanna get fuckpissed and throw away my career and prospects while I can. I don’t wanna throw away the opportunity to do this now, I want to look like a kid not like a responsible old boring person – but I guess that’s who I’m supposed to be. I just don’t wanna wait to be that person. I wanna look like who I am, or feel like what I look like. But I guess no one understands. I am who I am whether I want to be or not, I have to wait or I have to die. But I’m not brave enough for the latter, so I’ll have to go it alone. No one else is gonna help me – always alone, always being relied upon. But what if I don’t want to be sensible anymore? What if I want to go my own way? but that’s not an option. I’m stuck as I am forever and always, I only hope I find another like I, who is in need of a friend. or perhaps more. But not yet.  We are in a game of patience; I must win.

You go over to it, examine it and start to brush the green off it when… The Police Public Call Box sign starts to flicker and you start to hear noises, like a car turning on but way more epic. It’s starts to repair itself right before you eyes and you’re in complete awe. Then as it’s finished the door starts to open, welcoming you in and you walk in. “It’s a lot bigger on the inside…” you whisper to yourself and the door slams shut. You quickly turn around, run to the door and try to open it up but it’s properly locked. You start to hear a “Vworrrp Vworrrrp Vworrrp Vworrrrp” and it disappears through time and space with you in it.  You feel a slight bump and it’s landed. You go to the door hoping you can find your way home from wherever it’s taken you to when you hear “Ahhhhhhhhh!!!” A tall skinny mad looking man in a blue suit and maroon chucks is running right towards you screaming “DON’T YOU CLOSE THAT DOOR!” You want to close the door and go back to the woods but you don’t. He runs inside, shuts the door and goes to the control center and starts flipping switches, pressing buttons and pulling levers. “Ello, I’m The Doctor by the way…..and what exactly are you doing with my TARDIS?!” “Well, I was walking in the woods….” You start to explain but the more you tell, the madder you feel and this Doctor is just listening with complete understanding. “Did my TARDIS find you to come rescue me? Aww, she does that. Don’t you. You just can’t live without me.” he says half to you and half to walls of the Police Box as if it were a cute puppy. “What is this thing?” He takes a good look at you. “It’s a Police Box. Well, not just any Police Box. It can travel through time and space.” “It’s a t-time machine?” “Yep, Time And Relative Dimensions In Space. also known as the TARDIS.” he smiles. “Anywhere you want to go this little blue box can get you there….So, where would you like to go?” he smiles. “Can you take me home?” You ask. “Oh, do you want to go?” he looks slightly defeated. “Well I-” You try to explain. “Could I just show you something first, just one thing?” he says as he gets this excited look in his eye.
